The Class of '66 wished to recognize Mrs. Shirlee Then, Junior Play Director, who was their special guest at the performance.

From the 1966 Yearbook:

"The sounds of a captive city were heard outside, as the audience was caught up in the tense and personal lives of an isolated and terrified family. The play, "The Diary of Anne Frank", was presented by the senior class, under the capable direction of Mrs. Elizabeth MacDonald and Mr. Paul Venancio.

The hard-working cast and crew depicted the Frank family, fugitives from Nazi Germany. Tempers and personalities clashed in the close quarters. Portrayal of the strained relationships of the eight people involved proved a challenge to the ability of the cast.

Realistic lighting and scenery drew the audience into the strange family circle, as these people lived once more to tell their story to all."
